I am using the basic tinymce (free) and I am experiencing an odd behavior when using bullets and ordered lists.

If I enter

1. some value

2. another value

when submitted the values that end up in the db are

1. some value
3. another value

4. <ol>
   <li>some value<li>
   <li>another value<li>
   <ol>
   

   but is is showing in the textarea

   1. some value

   3. another value

   Any idea how I can get rid of the extra carriage returns?
