I have a transcoding process here that runs in parallel to get transcodes done quicker.
historically we have been transcoding audio in one process creating .ts files and a playlist which was fine but since we have been receiving higher quality content we have been unable to process the audio in a singe process (we do this in llambda).
I have recently split the audio into two separate process's which seams to get the job done but it has created a audio sync issue with the video since we changed to two process's and the audio seems to lag behind.
this is the command I am currently using:
/var/task/bin/ffmpeg -ss 0 -t 4188.1458335 -copyts -i '[redacted input URL]' -map 0:1? -c:a ac3 -hls_time 10 -hls_playlist_type vod -hls_segment_options mpegts_copyts=1 -muxdelay 0 -muxpreload 0 -hls_segment_filename /tmp/output0_%d.ts /tmp/audio_index_0.m3u8
