I'm attempting to build an MCP server that can open a Crystal Reports file, find fields, read and edit formulas, and export the file as PDF. I attempted using a computer use agent, however, this is quite fragile and error prone.

I have already tried the following:

• Using Power Automate to script actions and execute them from the MCP Server: Crystal Reports doesn't expose a UI tree beyond "Pane 1, Pane 2, ..."

• Using libraries like RPT RS (https://github.com/MrSrsen/rpt-rs): Read-only, no way to correctly save the report back

Is there a way to easily manage a .rpt file with an LLM?
