I am trying to send IMS records from Mainframe to Linux and process using SAS.

But when i read the file using SAS it shows the minimum record length was 6 and maximum was 800 whereas in mainframe minimum record length was 24476 and maximum record length was 24476.

Can you please tell why SAS is interpreting differently on linux?
