I have an issue with serving pictures on a LAMP server (Ubuntu 24.04 / Apache 2.4.58):

If a file is named "filename.var.jpg" (".var" is the critical part) serving the file causes an 500 internal error. If the file is named "filename_var.jpg" or "filename.rav.jpg" the error doesn't occur.

I suspect an configuration problem but don't know where to look at the moment - can somebody give me a hint where to look?
