Imagine that I have 4 pom.xml files -- ParentA, ChildA, ParentB, and ChildB. ParentA is the parent of ChildA, and ParentB is the parent of ChildB.
Let's further assume that ChildB has a dependency on ChildA.
Finally, all 4 pom.xml files are using Maven CI-Friendly Versions to specify the version, like so -- .
However, when I run mvn clean install, the pom.xml file that is uploaded to .m2/repository still contains the variable ${revision} as its version! That makes this pom unreferenceable and unfindable by any processes that depend on it!
How do I work around this? Is there some way that I can modify the pom.xml that is being written to .m2 without modifying the pom.xml that is in my project folder?
