I came across one of OpenTrack's manuals. I couldn't find a more up to date version, this is the latest screenshot I could find.

Is the description vertex-vertex-edge-vertex-vertex actually correct? To me it makes much more sense to assume it's a directed graph with independent double vertices.

But now I have many more edges and in the written description it reads: vertex-vertex-edge-vertex-vertex only one edge. From the looks of it undirected. Can you help me lay out the mental model more intuitively? Is it possible to encode more information into the vertices without cloning them? Or maybe into the edges?
