I have a hundred SVG files that I want to distribute. To make it easier, I converted them into a single PDF. However, since the SVG files define some paths that are used many times, during the conversion to PDF the file size increases because the paths are not substituted with an equivalent element like an XObject.

I have tested cairosvg and svg2rlg, but the resulting PDF is near the double of size.

Could you suggest tools or workflows that are better suited for handling SVG files and producing optimized PDFs?
