See the GIF. The tabcontrol's font size is bigger though, but I don't see why the user control outside of the tabpage is normal and on the tabpage changes the text size so the text moves. From the available properties of the tabcontrol I cannot find something that seems related to this behavior and since the user control also has some properties which might cause this, I specifically disabled anchoring.
