I’m using a premium MotoPress plugin for hotel booking and currently building a WordPress site in a local environment.
To activate the plugin, I guess I need to link the license key to a site URL. Since the site is not live yet, the current URL will definitely change after my site goes live.
I’m trying to understand the expected workflow since I couldn’t find clear documentation on how license activation behaves in my particular case.
What I'm concerned about:
The license might become invalid after live domain migration
Activation tied to a local or staging URL may need to be updated
Questions:
How does MotoPress handle license activation, especially across local and production environments?
Is it even safe to activate the license on a temporary URL?
Would I need to reactivate the license after moving to the live domain?
I’m looking for a general best practice to avoid issues when deploying the site.
