I'd like to know if there's a way, or software, to map mouse movement to the movement of a gaming joystick?
For example, if I move my mouse cursor to the top of the screen, I'd like it to correspond to a forward movement of the joystick.
Basically, I want to map the mouse Y axis to the y-axis.
As a person with reduced mobility, I use a mouse that I control with my head. Unfortunately, I don't have the use of my arms, so I can't use a joystick.
I want to play a video game with vehicles. The problem is that the only thing I can do is move my head up, down, and left and right with my mouse. That's why I need to find something that will make the vehicle move forward when I lift my head, simulating a joystick.
There is now a head-tracking mouse control function built into macOS. The problem is that it only works with the cursor and not as a joystick.
There's a program called PlayAbility, but it's not compatible with Mac.
In the accessibility settings, there is a parameter called the pointer alternative action.
This parameter allows, thanks to the expression of the face, to simulate a mouse key.
Thanks
