Hiding certain accounts in Banno
14:12 07 May 2026

We are wanting to use the Jack Henry Consumer API to fetch statements for a member including statements for shares that the user is joint on. So for example, a parent being able to access e-statements for their child. We were able to configure the Symitar core to support this (e.g. household and preference access records); however, it results in the child's shares also being displayed in online banking for the parent. For our particular use case, we'd like to see if there is a way we can programmatically hide these specific joint accounts that are displayed in Banno from the parent. Either a hard turn off or programmatically toggling off the "Display in online and mobile banking" account-level setting. The reason for this is that we want to be able to allow the parent to manage the shares of the child through our online banking feature and to view statements there as opposed to managing it through online banking directly.
