I am bit confused w.r.t claude what is the recommendation for the using MCP server or using API ( direct call ) .

For e.g. if I have Azure Devops MCP server should I access it via API( ADO API call) or use the MCP server.

There is discussion w.r.t token usage but in terms of better result which is better. Any recommendaitons?
