How can i restart ubuntu after start an version upgrade?

I do start an upgrade using Linux Ubuntu and the dialog sayng packages installed (questioning state) does not fit into the screen so i can not see if there is a continue butotn or anything.

I try using the terminal the command sudo reboot but the message i receive is : restart Operation inhibited by "UpdateManager" reason is "Updating System".
