I'm trying to get Aibo to detect when I hold my hand in front of its nose, as if I'm holding a treat or a dog biscuit, but it doesn't detect "close" or "very close."

Below is a photo of me raising my hand.

The ambient lighting is always bright enough so other commands and body or AIBO detection work, but only my hands don't.

Is this a bug or am I using it wrong?
