I am developing an Alexa Smart Home Skill using AWS Lambda. My devices are discovered successfully and voice commands (TurnOn/TurnOff, brightness, fan speed, etc.) work properly.
However, in the Alexa app all devices always show “Device is Unresponsive”, even though the directives are executed correctly.
Refer the attached query.js file about what I have implemented.
Problem Even though:
Discovery works
Directives work (TurnOn/TurnOff etc.)
StateReport handler exists
capability says proactivelyReported: true
capability says retrievable: true The Alexa app always shows “Device is Unresponsive.”
