So, what I am trying to implement is STL flexi toy maker app.
The desired functionality is simple: the user uploads stl -> selects where to 'cut' (where the hinges will be) -> the model is processed and returned to them with flexible hinges

What stack do I use for it. I believe three.js is an obvious choice for frontend, but for backend - not sure. I made some research and stumbled upon trimesh library, but can it really do the job? Or overall, can any Python/C++ library do something like that, or do you think the hinges are created by ai in STLAI case?
I've seen some implementations around the internet in which users upload 2d image and then get an stl model, but this is not quite what I am looking for. The user must be able to select where to place hinges on STL model itself,
