python-scriptable static code analyzer (c++)

I need to extract some structural information about input data in a larger c++ codebase, which is only defined by functions reading the data within the source code.

I need to find all locations where (a few) data input functions are called, and then establish what type their parameters are, what class the function (method) belongs to. I will be generating the input data schema based on that.

I wanted to use LSP for that (as that's the type of query they can do well, or do in editors), but did not find a client library which would be straightforward to use, at least not in Python.

Which tools would you use to tackle this?
