My Toolbox controls are grayed out. Winforms, Webforms, doesn't matter. I downloaded the free version of Visual Studio. I have tried a few things that I have seen online but nothing works, so I'm trying here. The install seemed clean. As far as i know, I haven't added anything to the project to cause this issue. Just create a new Winform project, the one with the work Frameworks in it.

i downloaded the form Designer tool/app whatever and that didn't matter. I don't see the tab for the Designer. I added references, reset the toolbox, set automatically populate toolbox, which i thought, "that's probably it" but nada, tried changing it to a class library. nothing.
